The Uromigos Live & Unplugged: Watch the Presentations Here!

Mashup Media, LLC, through a partnership with Thomas Powles, MD, and Brian Rini, MD, FASCO, The Uromigos, hosted their first-ever live event, The Uromigos Live & Unplugged, in Nashville, Tennessee, on September 30 through October 1, at the Thompson Nashville.

Unlike traditional conferences, this intimate 2-day meeting used a conversational format to present high-quality content related to the most clinically impactful topics across GU malignancies. Key opinion leaders in the oncology sphere, including Matthew Galsky, MD; Rana McKay, MD; and Axel Bex, MD, PhD, presided over the panel sessions on the topics of bladder cancer, prostate cancer, renal cell carcinoma, and more.

The meeting also featured interactive group discussions, hot topics buzzer rounds, and moderated conversations to foster in-depth and engaging discussions with both panelists and guests.

“We hope the event is going to be a new model for academic interaction and learning, featuring debate and discussion of the most important topics,” said co-host Dr. Powles.

The Uromigos Live: Perioperative Therapy in RCC

Brian Rini, MD, and Thomas Powles, MBBS, MRCP, MD, were joined by a panel of renal cell carcinoma (RCC) experts to discuss some of the recent ESMO data related to perioperative therapy in RCC, as well as thoughts on the next adjuvant therapy trials. The panel included Axel Bex, MD, PhD; David McDermott, MD; Sumanta Pal, MD, FASCO; and Tian Zhang, MD.

The Uromigos Live: Frontline Therapy in RCC

A panel of renal cell carcinoma (RCC) experts discussed standard frontline therapy for kidney cancer, as well as where they see frontline metastatic RCC therapy headed in the next five years.
